Mission

The crash of 2008 was driven by a betrayal of the most fundamental principles of capitalism, both in Washington and on Wall Street, by those often imagined, especially by themselves, to be capitalism’s champions.

The great danger now is that even on the free-market side, the conviction that capitalism failed will wilt resistance to the government’s efforts to hide its own role in the crisis and institutionalize even more deeply the flawed ideas and corrupt practices that led to catastrophe in the first place. The purpose of this blog is to put up a decent fight against all that, and if we have to go down fighting have a good time along the way.
